Alphabetical, chronological, or autobiographical? However you organise your record collection, once you've finished playing a record you need to put it back. But where does it go? Of course, you know exactly where it goes. But getting it right means looking carefully, and who has time for that? Nobody has time for that.
So use one of these little placeholders - like a bookmark for your record collection - to show you the way. Just stick it in where you pulled the record from, and when you're finished with it you can pull it out and replace it with your record.
I'm not really offering you a record placeholder. I'm offering you time, which is surely the most valuable thing in the world. How much more music will you get to listen to because of this little time-saving wonder? I don't know, but it's probably loads.
Anyway, enough of that. This is a 3D printed item made from PLA, which is a non-toxic bio-plastic. You can choose your colour and I have three sizes available. Why three sizes? Because I made a little one and thought it needed to be bigger, but then when I made a bigger one I liked them both. Then I got some feedback that an even bigger one would be better. So you choose. They're quite delicate, because I didn't want them to take up loads of space on the shelf, so be careful with them please. (The little foot is a couple of cm wide so you won't be able to use it right on the end of a shelf, but then you'll probably be ok to remember that that's where that record came from, so I think that's an ok trade-off.)
I have to say, I'm pretty chuffed with this. It's my new favourite thing. I hope you like it too.
